Quete
Hello,
I have a quick question, when we took Murphy to the vet 2 weeks ago for his annual check up I had her check his anal glands (he'd done the scooting thing that morning). She expressed them & said they were fairly full. This morning on our way home from our walk he did it again twice. Does anyone have recommendations for things to add to his diet that will help with this issue (preferably something that isn't too messy)? Currently he's fed Blue Buffalo Chicken & brown rice, he gets peanut butter with veggies (peppers, broccoli, carrots or whatever else we have leftover) in his kong when we leave in the morning. We're still doing a lot of training so he gets homemade peanut butter - banana treats for that (we've cut back on the kibble & peanut butter in his kong to account for the additional training treats). I know going raw would be the best option but right now we just don't have the freezer space to make this an economical option. I'm going to add a little canned pumpkin to his food tonight as that usually helps his bowel issue.
Any help will be apprecited.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
