🆕 New feature: Dog Followers List with avatars
Weve just added a new improvement to dog profiles on APBT Database.
Next to the Follow / Unfollow button, you can now open a popup window showing a full list of users who are following that dog including their profile avatars.
🔹 Whats new:
- One-click Followers list button on every dog profile
- Clean popup powered by SweetAlert2
- User avatars and usernames displayed in a modern list
- For admins: direct clickable links to user profiles
Live data updates instantly when someone follows or unfollows
📩 By using the Follow button, you will also automatically receive private message notifications about any changes made to that dogs pedigree (updates, corrections, new information, etc.), so you never miss important edits.
This makes it much easier to see who is tracking a dog and helps strengthen the community interaction around pedigrees and bloodlines.

📢 Testmating Pedigree Update Fixed & Fully Working
Were happy to announce that the Added to testmating pedigree button is now fully functional ✅
Creating testmating pedigrees now correctly accepts the selected dog and properly fills it into the form.
🔧 Whats been fixed:
after clicking Added to testmating pedigree, the selected dog (sire / dam) is correctly inserted into the form,
testmating pedigree now works properly even with pre-selected dogs by ID,
no more losing the selected dog while working with the form.
This makes building testmating pedigrees faster, clearer, and fully aligned with the users selection.

🔧 Complete Redesign of Test Pedigrees Is Live 🔧
We are excited to announce a major update that has just been completed:
✅ fully redesigned test pedigrees for planned breedings,
✅ improved and more intelligent search and suggestions for selecting dogs as parents (sire / dam),
✅ significantly enhanced and more accurate pedigree analysis, including COI and bloodline evaluation,
✅ all calculations are now performed directly from both parents, not from a fictitious stored dog.
The entire system is now faster, clearer, and much closer to real-world breeding planning.

Message Editor Fix Automatic Page Translation Issue
We have deployed a new fix that resolves an annoying issue where text could disappear in the message editor and replies when automatic page translation was enabled in the browser (Chrome / Google Translate).
❗️In some cases, the translator interfered with the editor, causing the text to be removed while typing or pasting.
✅ What has been fixed:
the editor is now protected against automatic translation interference,
text no longer disappears when page translation is enabled,
the fix applies to both new messages and replies,
more stable and reliable handling of message content.
Thank you to everyone who reported the issue and helped with testing.

We are launching GameDog Hub a brand-new community platform built directly into the Pedigree Database, designed to connect breeders, trainers, and enthusiasts of working dog lines in one place.
What you can do in GameDog Hub right now:
create your own posts about breeding, training, litters, kennel updates, or daily life with your dogs
upload photos, viewable also in full-screen mode
share links to dogs from the Pedigree Database they automatically appear as clean, informative dog cards
comment, interact, and communicate across the entire community
post on other users walls (unless you are blocked)
block unwanted users to protect your privacy
The goal of GameDog Hub is to provide a clear, engaging, and friendly space for sharing information about working dogs right where all your pedigrees and lineage histories already live.
And this is only the beginning.
If there is interest, we will continue expanding the platform with new features such as advanced reactions, video support, private groups, messaging tools, breeder-focused utilities, and much more.

📢 New Feature: Favourite Dogs ⭐
We are happy to introduce a new feature that many users have asked for
the ability to save dogs to your personal favourites list!
🔹 What is it for?
If you follow certain bloodlines, have favourite studs, keep track of dogs you plan to breed with or simply dont want to lose interesting profiles among thousands of records this feature is for you.
Now you can save any dog with one click and return to it later instantly.
🔹 How to use it?
On every dog profile, you will now see a new button Add to favourites / Remove from favourites.
Just click it and the dog will be added or removed from your personal list.
🔹 Where can I find my favourites?
You can access your saved dogs anytime through your User Profile → Favourite dogs,
or directly via the link: /favorites.php
The favourites page allows you to:
- view all dogs you saved ⭐
- search within the list 🔍
- remove dogs easily with one click ❌
- see basic info (name, parents, location, titles, photo)
🔹 Who can use it?
This feature is available to all logged-in users with an active license.
Administrators also retain access regardless of license status.
We hope this makes your work with the pedigree database faster, more organized and enjoyable.

New personal message system
After 15 years of running with the original private message conceptwhich carried certain flaws from the database's early dayswe decided it was time for a radical step forward.
We are excited to introduce the COMPLETELY NEW PRIVATE MESSAGE SYSTEM! 🥳
The new system is much more logical, intuitive, and finally aligns with the modern email concept you are familiar with.
Whats New and Why Youll Love It:
- Clear Sections: Organized into standard Inbox, Sent, and new sections for New Message and Blocked Users. Say goodbye to confusion!
- Intuitive Search: Quickly find any message with search functionality within every section.
- Images in Messages: You can finally send images directly within your private messages.
- User Blocking: Easy management of unwanted contacts. You can block users directly from the message view or via a new dedicated section.
- Email Notifications: Never miss an important message again! You will now receive an email notification for incoming messages.
- Accelerated Actions: We completely redesigned bulk message deletion, which is now much faster than in the original version.

Improved loading of Newest entries
Weve just released a small but very important improvement!
The Newest entries page now loads additional dogs correctly and continues exactly from where you left off.
Previously, when clicking Show more dogs, some entries could appear again or load in the wrong order especially when there were fewer than 20 updates, or when switching time filters (4/8/12/24 hours).
This is now fixed:
✅ Additional dogs load in the correct chronological order
✅ No more duplicate entries
✅ Works flawlessly with all time filters (4h, 8h, 12h, 24h)
✅ A faster and more consistent overview of the latest updates
