Weve just rolled out an improved and cleaner look for the editing form to make it easier to navigate when editing dogs, litters, or photos.
The goal was to simplify the layout, make elements clearer, and modernize the overall appearance.

Public pedigree links
Weve added a brand-new feature that lets you present a dogs pedigree publicly in a clean, ad-free format thats perfect for sharing!
This presentation mode is ideal for kennels and breeders who want to showcase their dogs and litters professionally 🐶✨
No ads, no pop-ups, no distractions just your dogs pedigree in a beautiful, simple view.
Youll find a new orange button in the left column:
➡️ Copy Public Pedigree Link
Click it, and the public presentation link for that dog will automatically be copied to your clipboard 💾 ready to share anywhere (website, Facebook, messages, etc.).
Pedigree status
1️⃣ Pedigree status directly on each dogs profile
You can now instantly see whether a dog has a complete 8-generation pedigree:
🟢 Complete 8-generation pedigree / 🔴 Incomplete 8-generation pedigree
2️⃣ Certificate request rule
If a dog does not have a full 8-generation pedigree, it is not possible to submit a certificate request.
This ensures higher data accuracy and pedigree integrity across the entire database.
Reports count
🚨 Ever wonder how many of your requests are pending approval? We've got an update for you! 🚨
You can now see at a glance on the APBT Database how many reports and data update requests (e.g., pedigree additions or corrections) you currently have submitted and are waiting for administrator approval and processing.
No more guessing! This new feature gives you immediate insight into the status of your contributions and shows transparently what our team is working on.
Upgraded FAQ Section
🚀 New Feature Launch: Our Upgraded FAQ Section with Smart Search!
No more endless scrolling! We are excited to announce the launch of our brand new, improved Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section designed to make finding information about the APBT Database incredibly fast and easy.
What's new?
🔍 Dynamic Search Functionality: As soon as you start typing into the search bar, the FAQ will automatically filter and show you the most relevant questions and answers in real-time. Finding information about license renewal, account sharing, or pedigree transfers is now a matter of seconds!
- What can you find here?
- Why the database is a paid service and how to activate your account after payment.
- The essential rules for using the account (including the strict ban on account sharing!).
- How to manage pedigrees (transfers, co-authors/team editing).
- Security tips (e.g., what happens when you change your password).
This is just the start! The FAQ section will be continuously expanded based on your most frequent inquiries and new database features.
Deletion and pedigree transport request
You no longer need to send a Report pedigree manually now it only takes one click on the new buttons right on the dogs page to submit your request:
✅ Request deletion request to delete the dog
✅ Request pedigree transfer request to transfer the dog under your account
💡 Your request will be sent to the administrator, who will review it and approve it if valid.
⚠️ IMPORTANT RULE:
A transfer is only possible to the actual new owner of the dog. Any violation of this rule (attempting an unauthorized transfer) will have serious consequences such as losing the right to send reports.

Renew license
Weve been getting more and more questions lately about how to properly renew your license so were happy to announce a new feature that makes it much easier:
✅ If your license is about to expire (30 days or less), youll now see a Renew license button directly on the site.
✅ On top of that, youll also receive an email and a private message, so you wont miss the reminder.
✅ When you click the button, a clear popup will appear with options to pay via PayPal or Stripe, along with a note showing exactly how many days are left until your license expires.
💡 Important: If you renew early, you wont lose a single day! The new 12-month period will always be added to the end of your current license, so none of your already paid days are lost.
Thanks to your support, the APBT Database can continue to grow and remain a valuable tool for all breeders. 🐾
Account sharing
Friends, I need to address a serious issue. Sharing a single user account among multiple people is strictly forbidden on the APBT Database and is a violation of the rules that everyone agrees to upon registration.
To ensure fair conditions for everyone, an advanced automated system runs in the background to monitor suspicious activity. This system is sophisticated - it evaluates more than 7 different behavioral patterns and can connect the dots. It doesn't just look at where you connect from; it also monitors the types of devices used, geographic jumps, the speed of switching between networks, and most importantly - it remembers your history. A user who repeatedly violates the rules is flagged as much higher risk by the system.
Until now, I have resolved every detected case with a personal conversation. My goal is not to block you from the database we are all building together. In every case, we discussed the issue, I received a promise that it wouldn't happen again, and the system reactivated their account.
Unfortunately, today I had to do something I've been avoiding. One user broke their promise and continued to share their account. As a result, their account has been blocked again by the system, this time likely permanently.
And now, a couple of interesting facts that show how serious this problem is:
- At one point, a single account was being actively used by 10 different devices (users) simultaneously.
- And what's interesting? Not a single one of the dozens of cases the system has caught so far involved users who haven't paid their annual fee. Every violation has come from a paying member... A coincidence? :)
Please, understand that this is primarily an issue of fair play. All paying users should have the same conditions and rights.
And most importantly: this system also protects YOU! If someone else were to gain access to your account - whether by stealing your password or because you forgot to log out on a public computer - the system would immediately detect the anomaly and flag it.
